Below are all the graduate student groups currently active at the Fisher College of Business. Group names are linked to the group's website, where applicable.

Black MBA Association
The purpose of the Black MBA Association (BMBAA) is to provide a supportive academic and social atmosphere that is necessary for African American students to succeed in the Fisher College of Business programs. The organization assists incoming students and continuing students through programs and activities designed to facilitate acclimation to the rigors of graduate school. This year we are looking to expand our presence and contribution to the Fisher community. Events so far have included co-hosting Event of the Week, Coat Drive for Take it to the Streets Program, Reading Day at Linden Elementary School, and food a drive to support the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. Upcoming events include the 2nd annual Black History Month Celebration Program.
Chinese Business Professional Association
The Chinese Business Professional Association is an organization consisting of Chinese graduate students. The CBPA is involved with the promotion of communications between Chinese graduate students and the Fisher community. Additionally, we've established and continue to maintain and expand a database and network of Chinese alumni of FCOB for the benefit of strengthening FCOB's reputation in emerging markets, exploring more job opportunities for all Fisher graduates, and searching for possible financial support of FCOB. We"re also concerned with assisting new Chinese students to have a smoother transition into the American culture, academic and social life.
Fisher 5K
The Fisher 5K Association is tasked with the strategic management of the Fisher 5K on an ongoing annual basis. The Fisher 5K Association shall support the goals of Fisher, corporate sponsors, and the charitable organization supported by the event. The Fisher 5K donated over $21,000 to chartible organizations in 2009, and the Fisher 5K Association seeks to continue growth of this event through a dedicated management team overseeing logistical support, marketing, corporate affairs, and fundraising.
Fisher Board Fellows
Fisher Board Fellows is a student-run initiative that brings together the Columbus community and select Fisher MBAs through the placement of students on the boards of local not-for-profits as non-voting Fellows. These Fellows, mentored by a board member and with the full support of the not-for-profit executive director, perform a consultative project that harnesses the student's business experience and passion for the not-for-profit's mission while adding long-term value to the partner organization.
Fisher Christian Fellowship
The MBA Fellowship is a non-denominational Christian fellowship that explores faith in business through mutual encouragement, discussion, and the use of skills and energy in service to others.
Fisher Entrepreneurship Association
FEA aims to harness and encourage the wealth of entrepreneurial talent that exists within the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. Open to all Fisher graduate students, FEA is a dynamic, member-based organization connecting students with other students, entrepreneurs, small business owners, venture capitalists, and alumni for the purpose of career development.
Fisher Latino Graduate Association
The Fisher Latino Graduate Association serves to increase the profile and opportunities for Latino students at the Fisher College of Business. The Fisher Latino Graduate Association's goal is to encourage personal and professional development, provide support and assist its members in their academic development at the Fisher College of Business. In particular, the organization will focus on identifying and networking with Latino alumni leaders, build fellowship among its members and address issues that face the Latino community.
Fisher Follies
Fisher Follies is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to foster community at the Fisher College of Business, encourage creativity, support local charities through a variety show, and to generally lampoon the life of business school students.
Fisher Golf Association
The Fisher Golf Association (FGA) strives to create a community for anyone interested in the game of golf. We accomplish this by hosting a variety of athletic, educational, and social events with a focus on having fun. We cater to both experienced and novice golfers, to enable experienced golfers to play competitively and novice golfers to develop their skills.
Fisher Graduate Poker Association
The primary purpose of the Fisher Graduate Poker Association is to teach the statistical and strategic aspects of the game of poker. Further, the organization will provide a forum to Fisher graduate students who enjoy the social and competitive aspects of the game of poker.
Fisher Graduate Student Association
Simply put, the FGSA encompasses all of the graduate student organizations within the Fisher College of Business. Its purpose is to organize the students of Fisher College while providing developmental, academic, and personal opportunities for all. Combining efforts and leveraging one another will help in achieving "critical mass" to drive change and improvement for all Fisher graduate students.
Fisher Investors
Fisher Investors seeks to create a forum for students and friends of the Max M. Fisher College of Business to share and contribute to our individual and collective knowledge of the area of investments. The organization and all of its members are dedicated to the lifelong process of continual learning, which we believe is required of disciplined investors in today’s increasingly competitive marketplace.
Fisher Partners' Club
The Fisher Partners' Club is an organization made up of the spouses and significant others of graduate students in the Fisher College of Business. Our goal is to provide support throughout the business school experience by sponsoring a variety of family and social activities, providing advice about living in Columbus, and offering opportunities for partners and students to meet and establish new friendships.
Fisher Professional Services
Fisher Professional Services (FPS) is the MBA operated consultancy serving companies in the local Columbus area. Teams of students complete paid consulting engagements, providing value for the client firms, as well as enriching their educational experience while at Fisher. FPS also hosts several events throughout the year, bringing professionals from industry leading consulting firms to speak to students regarding opportunities in this exciting field.
Fisher Real Estate Society
The Fisher Real Estate Society (FRES) aims to educate, encourage and assist students with future careers in the real estate industry. FRES allows students to network with other students, faculty, alumni and recruiters in the real estate industry. Given the vast interest in personal investing in real estate, we will also be learning about how one can invest in real estate. We hope that FRES will become one of the fastest growing and most widely recognized student organizations at Fisher.
FisherServes
FisherServes is a graduate student led organization at the Max M. Fisher College of Business that is committed to promoting awareness of civic and social responsibilities and to connecting the Fisher College of Business with the surrounding community by leading service-based initiatives throughout the Columbus area.
Fisher Veterans Association
The Fisher College of Business Veterans Association is an organization at The Ohio State University designed to furthering the opportunities of those that have served in the Armed Forces and have decided to return to business school. The Association is a growing network that is dedicated to recruiting exceptional military candidates to the Fisher College of Business and preparing them for leading roles in the business community while giving back to those currently engaged in combat operations.
Graduate Human Resources Association
The Graduate Human Resources Association is designed to be a fun and informative group that prepares students to succeed as Human Resources Professionals. GHRA strives to provide Fisher Graduate Students interested in HR with opportunities to meet, interact, and learn through events focused on the HR profession.
Graduate Women in Business
The Fisher Graduate Women in Business (FGWIB) organization acts as a forum to discuss and address issues relevant to women in business and build awareness of women in leadership positions. FGWIB does this through professional and social events that offer our members additional networking opportunities with leaders in the community. This organization strives to promote the role of women in business by providing our members with the practical knowledge they need to succeed in this world. Membership is not restricted to women; anyone who is interested in addressing the topics that interest the contemporary women in business is welcome.
International Business Club
The International Business Club is designed to be a fun and informative group that prepares students to succeed in the global business environment. The IBC serves to provide MBA and undergraduate students with opportunities to meet, interact, and learn through events focused on international business and/or international locations and cultural themes. The organization also serves to facilitate the integration of international and exchange students into the Fisher community, and the interaction of foreign and domestic students in a social environment. Lastly, the IBC functions as the voice for students who wish to promote integration of international topics and courses into the curriculum of the Fisher College of Business.
Indian MBA Association
The Indian MBA Association provides a platform for continuous dialogue and interaction among members with a goal of improving student life and enabling career opportunities for the members. The Indian MBA Association will act as an interconnecting system for students to network and create an environment that will help in enriching students' Fisher experience. Another major objective is to get involved with the community by volunteering the time and services of Indian MBA Association members.
Innovation Fisher
What IF… students could explore the growing area of innovation outside of the classroom, working with real companies on their key business problems in the process? The mission of Innovation Fisher is to augment Fisher’s innovation curriculum with real-world exposure to innovation practice. Debates on salient issues, guest speakers, workshops, networking events with innovation professionals and a major symposium on innovation each spring are all envisioned as ways Innovation Fisher can provide value to Fisher graduate students.
MAcc Association
The Master of Accounting Association recognizes outstanding academic achievements in the field of accounting, promotes the study and practice of professional fields related to accounting, and provides members networking opportunities with visiting professionals. With only 3 quarters of activity, developing lasting bonds and planning quality events is a challenge for a Master of Accounting (MAcc) student organization. Building on the success of the student committee structure, which has been effectively implemented in the past to plan service, social and professional development events, this new organization is designed to provide improved organizational structure for student activities in the MAcc program. Encouraging a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility is also a major focus of the MAcc Association.
MBA Finance Association
The MBA Finance Association strives to create a community for all finance majors, as well as, for all other majors that have an interest in finance. We accomplish this by providing a network of individuals who have experience and connections in different areas of corporate finance and the investment industry. We facilitate communication of personal experience through social, competitive and networking events. We provide additional educational tools to our members that are currently not available through the curriculum such as sponsoring the Bloomberg certification process. The MBA Finance Association through its organized events is committed to providing professional services and personal rewards to all of our members.
MBA Marketing Association
The MBA Marketing Association's mission is to provide opportunities for Fisher MBAs to explore the field of marketing while developing their marketing skills. The executive board, elected at the pleasure of the membership, strives to provide the MBAMA's members with opportunities to meet marketing professionals both in Columbus and throughout the United States. The MBAMA also serves as a forum for improving the Marketing major at the Fisher college, a resource for supporting marketing job searches, and presents an ideal environment where both current members and alumni can meet and share their knowledge and experiences.
MBA Sports Association
The purpose of the MBA Sports Association (MBASA) is to organize intramural sports teams, teach U.S. sports to international students who are interested, and attend sporting events together as a group. The MBASA also brings in speakers to present about the relationships between sports, business, and sports management, and fosters relationships with the community and other business schools through events like the MBA Games.
MBLE Association
The purpose of this organization is to provide an organization to represent current and former MBLE Students at the Ohio State University.

Out in Business
OUT in Business seeks to meet the growing need for support, networking, and awareness of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender (GLBT) community within the Fisher College of Business. The organization promotes understanding and respect between GLBT students and the rest of the Fisher community. OUT in Business will foster relationships with other top university GLBT business groups, existing Fisher clubs, Fisher faculty and staff, and other community resources to achieve these ends.
Operations and Logistics Management Association
Operations and Logistics Management Association (OLMA) is a forum for MBA students interested in a major/ minor in Operations and Logistics Management. OLMA aims to provide resources to students to enable them to gain a broader understanding of the importance, opportunities, career paths, trends, and current hot issues in this field. Additionally, OLMA helps put members in touch with industry through our affiliations with professional organizations, and fosters the professional growth of its members through seminars, conferences and case competitions.
Working Professional MBA Council
The Working Professional MBA Council (WPMBAC) represents the interests of the Working Professional MBA students. The eight members (four first-years and four second-years) serve as liasons between the Working Professional MBAs and the Fisher faculty and staff, and they are elected during the second quarter of their first year. Over the years, the Working Professional MBA Council has lobbied to maintain a wide variety of evening elective course offerings, established the Working Professional MBA Scholarship, coordinated numerous social events, and worked to maximize the overall MBA experience for all Working Professional students.
