Fisher's MLHR curriculum will help you set the pace with the changing business environment by continually offering new and innovative coursework that reflects market demand and taps into the knowledge of practitioners and corporate leaders in the field. These enhancements reflect the analytical, leadership, and business skills you need to effectively handle staffing, compensation, training, and labor relations. Additionally, the MLHR program has official certification from the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM)

Critical Skill Development

Our curriculum will help you develop expertise in HR theory, staffing, training, and compensation - four critical skill sets needed to effectively manage people and ideas. You will hone your leadership skills by studying and applying organizational behavior theory, negotiations, organizational development, and change. Classes in research methods, statistics, and HR information systems will develop your analytical skills. You will benefit from coursework in business fundamentals, organizational economics, labor law, and diversity that round out a broad-based approach to fine tune your business context skills.
